Personality:

I can't believe it's been a decade!

It was 2014 when I lost my 3DS, which included my valuable AC:NL savegame with 1000+ hours of playtime.
I quickly grabbed a cheaper 2DS and managed to recover my eShop account and my digital AC:NL copy but, unfortunately, my savegame was forever gone... or so I thought.

I had put so much effort into it and I didn't feel like starting again.
But when the first 3DS RAM exploits were released, I was able to download a partial copy of my savegame from Dream Suite servers.
With that copy I would be able to start a new town and try to replicate the exact town I had before, including my mansion, its villagers and more.
I only needed a way to edit the savegame and, luckily with the RAM injection method and a lot of help from the community, I was able to create this editor and finally recover most of my savegame.

While I did it for personal purposes, I decided to make it public and honestly, I never expected it to become so popular.
Even years after New Horizons release, AC:NL Save Editor still gets thousands of visits every month, and I'm glad to see it still being useful to so many people.

(I must admit I am not proud of the messy code. It was one of my first big web projects and I promise I have learnt a lot since then.)

Despite having decided to stop updating the editor some years ago, I couldn't let the 10th anniversary of its release go by without a special update.
Enjoy it with some UI tweaks and a bunch of lil' new features, I hope you like them!

Thank you for all the feedback and support I've received over these years <3,
